Our commitment to digital accessibility
SafeDrivePod is committed to making our website and mobile applications accessible to all users
regardless of their capabilities or limitations. Simply because we think it is important that everyone can use our services.
What we do
We periodically conduct accessibility tests based on the WCAG 2.1 AA guidelines and the European standard EN. 301 549. In doing so, we use a combination of automatic and manual testing methods, including contrast checks, keyboard navigation and screen reader tests.
What do we look for
Our approach focuses on the four basic principles of digital accessibility:
Perceivable - Information and components are visible and audible to all, e.g. through alternative text for images and sufficient colour contrast
Operable - The website can be used with different input methods, such as keyboard or voice control, without time pressure or blockages
Understandable - Content and navigation are clear and predictable, with clear language and consistent formatting
Robust - The website works well with different browsers, devices and supporting technologies, now and in the future.
Our approach to improvement
We continue to test and improve our website periodically.
We do this at least once a year for all our existing products. And we evaluate new screens before they go live, so that they are immediately accessible to everyone.
Feedback?
We are always happy about that!
